Chilly in July

Hey, Kids!!

It is really cold here this morning. 59 degrees inside, I don't know what's outside, but Andy wore a jacket, and he's driving the truck, not the bike.

Logan has his seconds Swimming Lesson tonight with Missy. Pictures of that next. Yesterday, he had huge liesure time and spent all afternoon and into the evening playing outside with neighbor friend Eta. First, he started over there, for several hours with the slip and slide and the swingset. Then, they asked if they could come over here, so I hollered, "Eta aki?" to her mother and in they were.

There seems to be interest in the Blazer. I hope I can get it out of here and get a little money for it. Cross your fingers.

In Which I am a Goober

Sigh. I just figured out what the problem was with me not being able to post. My security software is way too secure for me, and I just figured out how to white-list and UNblack-list sites. I didn't really understand that if I chose not to get a cookie from a site once, that it would be forever on the black-list. Or the other way around. And, every time I would go in to the security software, since it's update, I couldn't find the white-list anywhere. Ugh. So now I have. Good thing I don't have to chuck the whole computer.

We finally told everyone at church today about our plans to be married in September. They were all pleased, but a few were just silly-happy about it. They are certain to be at the party, I can tell you!

Yesterday, we had a grand time at Stephanie and Keith's house. The kids all went in the pool and so did Katahdin. He just stayed on the top step, grabbing for flies in the water, and cooling off between chasing their one-year-old yellow lab around the yard at Greyhound speeds. Stephanie is a brand-new motorcycle rider, and Keith got me to swing a leg over it to try it for size. The Honda Shadow seems to be a very popular starter motorcycle, and it would certainly be in the running for me, if I were to choose to learn how to drive one myself. Or maybe a Triumph. Or, maybe not. We hope to go out riding with them sometime, but they are with the children almost all the time without Grammas to watch them, so we don't know when.

Remember, you are able to post here too, if you don't have a cookie problem Me? I now have a brownie problem.
